Built for citable research
Every feature is designed around one principle: a finding should be traceable to the moment it was captured.
Provenance and chain of custody
Every captured item carries a provenance record: source, capture time, tool version, and a SHA-256 content hash. Versions are linked, so you can show a record's full history. Exports include a manifest listing every item and its hash, so a reviewer can check your dataset independently.
Capture what you view
ParseQuest records the posts you open, at normal browsing pace, with you present in the foreground. Your browser signs in directly; credentials never leave your machine.
Versioned records
Records are never silently edited. When something changes, ParseQuest creates a new version and keeps the old one, so your history stays intact. Deletion is available when you need it (for example, a data subject request) and is recorded in a log.
Sync what you choose
Sync is optional and off by default. Choose collections to sync for cross-device access and search. Only records sync, never credentials, cookies, or session data. ParseQuest does not collect anything on your behalf from our servers.
Export to JSON, CSV, or PDF
Export any collection with full provenance data. Every export includes source metadata, timestamps, and version history.
Scope and minimization controls
Set the boundaries of a project: which accounts, topics, or date ranges you're capturing. Review what's stored per author and remove what you no longer need.
Filter your collections
Search within your workspace by collection, date, or content type.
Isolated research projects
Each project gets its own workspace with separate browser profile. Credentials from one never leak into another.
