Usage Norms
Last updated: October 2026
ParseQuest is designed to stay within normal browsing behavior. These norms are built into the product and apply to every account.
- You are present. Capture only runs while you are using ParseQuest in the foreground. There are no unattended background runs.
- Normal pace. Capture is rate-limited per account. These limits are not adjustable from the app.
- Scope you set. Each project has an explicit scope. ParseQuest does not capture outside it.
- No evasion. We do not build or ship features that defeat a platform's security, rate limiting, or anti-automation measures, or that present automated activity as human.
- No session pooling. Your session stays on your device. We never combine accounts or sessions into a shared collection service.
- Deletion and removal. You can delete individual records or all records from an author. Requests to us about hosted data are honored promptly.
- If a platform asks us to change something, we review the request in good faith and tell users what changed.
These norms may change. We will note the date of the last update at the top of this page.
